The Story Behind the Coffee:
Keramo Daye Bensa Station in Sidama, Ethiopia, is an award winning washing station owned by the visionary Dukamo brothers, Asefa and Mulugeta. Grown in a region famed for its lush vegetation and ideal conditions, Keramo coffee is meticulously harvested by 381 smallholder farmers committed to picking only the ripest cherries. With roots deeply embedded in coffee culture, Asefa Dukamo's journey from a coffee farmer’s son to an industry pioneer led to the establishment of 16 washing stations and 4 dry mills, including the renowned Qonqana Station. Known for its pristine processing and sustainable practices, Daye Bensa Coffee embodies a dedication to quality, traceability, and community empowerment, making every cup a taste of Ethiopian tradition and excellence.
