  • Process: Washed, Ethyl Acetate Decaffeinated. Ethyl Acetate is a natural byproduct of fermented sugar. It is combined with water, where the solution is used to extract the caffeine from green coffee after the beans have swelled up due to steaming.

The Farms Behind this coffee:

Las Julias. A farm situated at 1990 MASL and managed by Don Serafin Jesus Erazo Bolaños. For this harvest, he brought along cherries from the Caturra variety.


El Credo. Maria Gloria Quintana Muñoz contributes to this lot by bringing her cherries of Colombia picked at the height of 1870 MASL.


Villa Maria. Uribe Giraldo Diaz contributes to this lot with her cherries of Caturra and Colombia harvested at the height of 1900 MASL.


La Esperanza. Gilberto Cardenas brings along to this lot his cherries of Colombia and Castillo picked at the height of 1978 MASL.


La Monja. Diego Meneses cultivates Caturra and Colombia on his farm at the height of 1911 MASL.


La Despensa. Denis Dorado contributes his cherries of the Caturra, Castillo and Colombia variety, harvested at the height of 1890 MASL.


El Chirimoyo. Maura Leney Cardenas contributes to this lot with his cherries of Castillo and Colombia harvested at the height of 1800 MASL.


El Naranjo. Doña Celina was born with a motor disability, but that hasn't stopped her from carrying out activities at home with her brothers and nephews. She planted her own hectare of coffee and takes care of the processing and part of the work in the field.


El Porris. Don Emiliano Popayan contributes to this lot by bringing along his cherries of Caturra and Colombia harvested at the height of 2100 MASL.


El Romboy is a neighbouring farm to El Motilon, managed by Don Pedro, a picker who works with his two brothers and a sister who was born with a disability.


El Cabuyal. Don Muñoz works on the farm with his children where they grow cane sugar, beans, and fruit trees alongside 3000 Caturra variety coffee trees.


El Higueron. Doña Maria Dominica Estrella Gomez brings along her cherries of Caturra and Colombia harvested at the height of 187o MASL.
