The Story Behind the Coffee

A few years ago, the Wingler family embraced coffee farming with a vision rooted in sustainability. At Fazenda Pirapitinga, located in Alto Paranaíba near the Pirapitinga River, they transformed the land into an Environmental Reserve while producing exceptional specialty coffees. Led by Débora Wingler, the farm combines regenerative practices—organic composting, native forest preservation, and biological pest control—with a deep respect for nature. This thoughtful approach results in coffees of natural sweetness, vibrant acidity, and a layered, complex profile.

About the Producer

Situated in the renowned Cerrado Mineiro region, Fazenda Pirapitinga benefits from stable climate conditions, distinct seasons, and an altitude of around 1,000 metres. The 300-hectare farm integrates coffee cultivation with the preservation of native ecosystems, home to endangered species like the Pirapitinga fish and Brazilian Merganser. Under Débora’s stewardship, Fazenda Pirapitinga stands as a model of how sustainable farming and high-quality coffee production can thrive together.
